Customising Ubuntu for Australian Conditions

Submitted by bimberi on Thu, 24/08/2006 - 16:53

Choosing Australia as your location during the Ubuntu install sets up a lot of local settings. However there are a few things you can do to further customise Ubuntu for use here.

A page of local customisations has been established on the Ubuntu Help wiki.

If you're aware of further customisations that can be done, feel free to add them to that page. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can email [david.symons AT liberatedcomputing.net] and he'll do the editing for you.
