computerbank victoria offering recycled pcs with ubuntu. prices start from $15

Computerbank Victoria has just started using an inhouse customized version of ubuntu as the OS for their recycled computers. Prices start from $15 for a Pentium 3 600-660MHz, 256MB RAM, 8.4GB Hard Drive, CDROM and sound. Computers come with a CRT monitor, keyboard and mouse. Free user guide and training is available for each computer. Only available to Health Care Card holders

they also have some machines available to those without concession cards. these include:

$80 HP Cel 2.4Ghz, 256 DDRAM 6.4Gb Hard Drive - no CDRom, no monitor, no keyboard no mouse
$60 Dell P4 1.8 with 6.4Gb HD - no CDRom, No Ram, no monitor, no keyboard no mouse
